For this production, I chose a different approach from most JCCT shows and implemented more high side lighting and toplight specials focused on the central platform, which created a beautiful, ethereal effect to support the religious content and helped cut off the onstage band placed upstage. With the smaller, all-hands-on-deck style of production, I also assisted with assembling gel scraps in the windows to mimic a stained glass and painted the white-washed wooden plank effect on the stage.
