An original play, Callaway explores the moral reckonings of a Civil War family, framed by loving letters between Dulcinea and her husband Joshua fighting on the Southern front, even as she absorbs an abolitionist newspaper her brother brings home which disrupts their understanding of the 'right' thing to do.
